Greetings and welcome to the Journey Begun in Scripture podcast! I am your host, Theodore Jander. To begin this episode, “The Way of the Blessed,” I share Matthew 5:3, which comes from the Scripture passage my dad reflects on, that being the Gospel of Matthew 5:1-12: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Now, sit back and relax as you take this time to dwell in God’s presence as my dad, Dr. Lou Jander, reflects on “The Way of the Blessed.”
Psalm 34:6 - This poor man cried. The Lord heard him and saved him out of every trouble.
James 7:2 - “My brothers and sisters, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”
