There are several screenreader programs for different operating systems. A free open source screen reader NVDA: https://www.nvaccess.org/download/,

for Windows JAWS: https://www.freedomsci.de/serv01.htm,
for MacOS, VoiceOver is pre-installed.

Screenreaders for mobile devices: VoiceOver for iPhones and iPads is installed by default on all iOS devices. TalkBack, screenreader for core Anroid operating systems, also generally preinstalled.
