Welcome to Vista: Unified, the podcast spotlighting the people, programs, and possibilities of the Vista Unified School District.
In this episode, we highlight the many opportunities to prepare students for career pathways that include everything from healthcare to welding.
Our Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways offer a robust and varied selection of classes that even include North County’s first pre-apprenticeship program for the building trades, an expanding sector of the local workforce. These pathways prepare our students for well-paying, in-demand jobs.
Dr. Doyle speaks with Robert Crowell, Director of Career Technical Education for Vista Unified School District, about the ways that our district equips and prepares our students.
Dr. Doyle also speaks with several students whose lives have benefitted from CTE classes as they navigate their journeys through life.
Vista: Unified is a production of the Vista Unified School District in cooperation with A Different Day Radio, a local business in our outstanding community of Vista, California. Our theme music was composed and recorded by Carter Bergman, a student in the class of 2027 at Mission Vista High School.
