(Gen. 7-8) Noah's own faith in God was evidence enough for Him that God would keep him and his family alive. Faith should be present and active both in times of doing and in times of waiting. Faithfully waiting, faithfully performing the duties in front of him, Noah was looking forward to being back on dry ground. In uncertain times, he trusted in the eternal God who had promised to sustain life; and so do we.
