In this episode, we will be discussing the plot lines and character arcs of only Aelin, Rowan, and the events happening in Wendlyn and Doranelle. Since this book introduces several new characters, and takes place on two different continents in the ToG world, we are splitting up our coverage into two different episodes, following the characters that are on different continents, separately. This book follows Celaena Sardothien after the devastating events of Crown of Midnight. Emotionally broken by loss and guilt, she is sent across the sea to the kingdom of Wendlyn. Rather than carrying out the mission she was sent to complete, she instead begins a journey of self-discovery that forces her to face her true identity. She is forced to confront aspects of herself that she has spent years running from and denying. This novel expands the world of Throne of Glass, and lays the foundation for the epic conflicts that follow. We'd love to know what you thought of Heir of Fire. People seem to either love it or hate it. We are split down the middle!
