Victoria is a nurse, mother of 3, and a stroke survivor who has experienced aphasia and apraxia of speech first hand. Victoria shares her stroke story - which is a must listen. She describes what is was like to be completely nonverbal in the acute stages after her stroke. Victoria tells us how her community rallied around her to help her improve her speech and language little by little.
