By 2030, the UN estimates 60% of the world population will be living in urban areas, leaving the rural population a minority. In the Philippines, the urban population is expected to grow to 65% by 2050. And who will be leading this change? The youth.
For part two of our mini-series, we’ll tell you all about the young leaders we met in Cebu under the Youth 4 Sustainable Cities, a youth engagement program we ran in partnership with Citi Foundation to engage the youth with urban development. Meet Bel, Al, and Robert, and Naomi, 4 of our 27 Cebu ambassadors, and get to know the social impact they’re creating - and continue to create - right as we speak.
