After a year-long hiatus, Makesense Radio is back with something seasonal and extra spicy: how can we, as young people, start crucial discussions to prepare for #Halalan2022--without ruining our holiday gatherings.
Learn from our special guests at School of Deliberative Futures and Good Gov PH on tips and techniques to create safe spaces and generative dialogue with family, friends, or strangers, regardless of your differences.
By 2030, the UN estimates 60% of the world population will be living in urban areas, leaving the rural population a minority. In the Philippines, the urban population is expected to grow to 65% by 2050. And who will be leading this change? The youth.
For part two of our mini-series, we’ll tell you all about the young leaders we met in Cebu under the Youth 4 Sustainable Cities, a youth engagement program we ran in partnership with Citi Foundation to engage the youth with urban development. Meet Bel, Al, and Robert, and Naomi, 4 of our 27 Cebu ambassadors, and get to know the social impact they’re creating - and continue to create - right as we speak. Opinions expressed by the participants are their own and do not represent the views of makesense.

Deloitte University Press found that the economic and socio-political optimism of the youth is at an all-time record low. Hopeless? Far from it. For our third episode, we spoke to three makesense ambassadors and volunteers to give us a sneak peak behind the lives of our everyday heroes, how they help push the needle, and how YOU can do too!
It was total BLAST speaking to Ryan Bestre HL, Ashley Uy, and Cyril Mapula. We hope you enjoy this episode as much we enjoyed putting it together!
