In Episode 4 of DisneySpace, Jeff and Mark welcome our first special guest Joel Christopher Payne to the show as each reimagine the former DisneyQuest and former NBA Experience space of today’s Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.

Joel has served many creative roles throughout his storied career, including Artist and Art Director positions at many gaming studios and TV shows. Today, Jeff is a professional artist and is licensed by Disney to paint and illustrate Disney branded characters, landscapes, and sceneries. In early 2021, Joel presented his water color paintings at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, painting many on site!

In a former key role, Joel collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering to develop “Virtual Jungle Cruise”, an innovative feature attraction inside DisneyQuest at Walt Disney World. His creative insight and experience at DisneyQuest inspired us to welcome him to this show!

In this episode, not only does Joel offer an amazing “DisneySpace” pitch, he provides some profound Imagineering background, eye-opening stories, and inspiring recommendations for making future DisneySpaces with excellence.
