Today begins a new season of Embracing the Fight. Erica's Official Glow Day was September 29, 2023. On this day, she received a high dose of radioactive iodine to seek out and eradicate the remaining thyroid cells that may be cancerous. She talks about the preparation for this day, expectations, and what happened afterward. She hopes that if you are dealing with thyroid cancer, that you can also be healed and overcome. She tells her journey to help normalize the conversation surrounding physical and mental health issues and concerns.
