What the Heck?

Episode 41- Campsite Hide and Seek

Listen Later

Welcome to What The Heck! This podcast explores unexplained phenomena using stories gathered from various sources, then applies an academic research method to find theories and solutions for each one. So far, we've been unsuccessful in finding any concrete answers. This week your host, Glen, is going to look at the disappearance of Dennis Martin. In June 1969, the men of the Martin family continued their Father's Day tradition- camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On the second day of the trip, six-year-old Dennis Martin went missing during a prank the children were playing. A two week search found almost no evidence of his whereabouts. What happened to Dennis? Are the urban legends of Feral Humans true? Was it one of the many Appalachian folklore creatures? Join Glen as he tells the story and looks at all the theories! Links for social media and other ways to listen are found here: https://linktr.ee/whattheheckpod You can email Glen at [email protected] with any of your spooky stories, unexplained events, mysteries that you want him to look at, or anything you'd like him to correct or address.
