Mary Schrader is an award-winning wildlife photographer based out of California, but she travels extensively capturing stunning images that showcase connection and story in places like Africa, Alaska, and the Arctic. 

Her work has been recognized by Nature Photographer of the Year, Africa Geographic, Remembering Wildlife, NANPA, The San Diego International Photo Exhibition, the Pangolin Photo Challenge, among others. She’s been featured in Forbes, Popular Science, CNN, Peta Pixel, The Telegraph, The Atlantic, and other international publications.  

With a masters in costume and scenic design for theater, Mary’s artistic eye captures details which evoke story and emotion. Her goal is to ignite a flame of care and compassion in her audience for the wild creatures she captures.
