There are many ghost ship stories all along the coast of the Americas. NC has a strip of coast line off the outer banks that has been wrecking ships for centuries.

In the first case we have the story of an abandon ship that has left civilians and the government questioning what happened for years.

In the second case we have the lore of a flaming ship that can be seen on a certain night each year off the coast of Ocracoke.
