Born and raised in Fresno, CA, Scott has been playing in the outdoors since he was young and stumbled on highpointing by accident after finding himself on the summit of Mt. Whitney as part of his journey along the John Muir Trail. Scott is a firefighter, paramedic, and ski patroller in the Tahoe region and has an impressive climbing resume.
