Giving up your power is not the proper way to love. Many people think it's how you're supposed ot love. It is not! When people give up their power they also lose control. If you give it up it will always be taken. Any person who wants your power and control is an unhealthy individual. I've always told you that people treat you how you have taught them to treat you and/or how you have allowed and accepted. You can love without allowing yourself to be powerless and controlled.
