Mass sociogenic illness? Never heard of it until I read an article in the Atlantic Magazine last week (see below for link). It relates the concept of a functional Tourette's Syndrome-like issue that occurs when young people watch YouTube or TikTok videos of people with Tourette's and, in a way, begin to imitate them. The relevance: they define a Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) differently than Brain-based chiropractors do...but we work on these 'disconnected kids' by reconnecting them to their brains and nerve systems!
