Today I think about the years I was not saved and was not able to serve the Lord because I was a pagan, especially when I spent 4 days in Puyo, Ecuador, just 40 miles from where Jim Elliot and Nate Saint and the others were speared by the then-violent Auca tribe. The pagan knows nothing of spiritual battles, and I was no different.
