Chris Hallsey is a Dad. It's not a title, it's who he is.

This episode hit hard for me - it will for any parent.

I saw a post Chris had done on LinkedIn and reached out to learn more. Glad I did.

Chris's son, Tanner was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor - at age 13.

At the time of the diagnosis, Chris asked him "What do you want to do?"

Tanner's response: "Whatever it takes."

That became their motto as Tanner courageously and selflessly battled for 17 months.

Chris took this motto seriously and quit his job to be by Tanner's side.

I don't think anyone can truly understand the loss of a child - unless they've experienced it.

Chris knows that love qualifies you to make the had decisions, and that love is never wrong.
