This week’s guest is truly an honor to host on the show! The amazing former OU football standout, Marcus Dupree!

Marcus is a former professional football player and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame inductee. Born in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1964, Dupree was considered the most sought-after high school recruit in the state’s history, breaking Herschel Walker’s record for touchdowns. He played for the University of Oklahoma in 1982 and was awarded Football News Freshman of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year honors.

He was also a Third-team All-American (1982); First-team All-Big Eight (1982); Dupree finished the season with 1,144 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. He scored his first college touchdown against Texas on a 63-yard fake reverse, and had the Fiesta bowl rushing record in 1983 for 239 yards, which still stands today.

He also played in the USFL for the New Orleans Breakers; and In the NFL, he played for the Los Angeles Rams.
