In this episode, I talk about books and the importance of actually reading them instead of just collecting them. I also share a shawl that I knit over eight years ago and the lessons it taught me. And although I have made some progress on other projects, the past two weeks have been filled with socks, socks, and more socks. (And you get a sneak peek of an upcoming self-striping colorway.) I’m thrilled to announce a fiber retreat that I’ll be going to, as both a participant and a vendor. Two questions for Karen lead to a discussion about what a tech editor is as well as some potential color combinations for a shawl that uses self-striping yarn. I also give a couple of recommendations for things to watch on Netflix and some board games to play with kids and show the prize for the Q1 KAL/CAL.
