Episode 47: When You Feel Like You Don't "Add Value"...

Listen Later

On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset podcast, I share all about "adding value" and what to do when we wake up and feel like we have no value to add to the world. I'm feeling that this week and almost didn't even share a podcast. However, I knew that simply saying the words "I don't know how to add value" would add value, encouragement and light into someone's life. Because WE ALL experience those kinds of feelings!

As humans, we overcomplicate it sometimes. Really - when it comes to connection and growth, transparency and just being open and honest are the name of the game. That's how we normalize. That's how we break down walls. By simply saying exactly how we feel!

I absolutely have days, weeks, seasons where I feel "off". Where I feel like the effort I put in doesn't matter. Maybe you can relate to that? In those times - we have to remember two things: 1. We don't have to always be ON and adding value everywhere around us. It's OK to slow down, sink into yourself and just work to add value and joy into your own life. That is ABSOLUTELY an important part to the self-care and inside out health process. Give yourself permission to just exist and pay attention. It can be an incredibly powerful growth tool. 2. Remember that we're all uniquely made - exactly as we are. That in and of itself is a miracle and a gift! Who we are and what we do is more than enough - not something we to prove through constant value add.
