This episode I was able to sit down with my big brother to talk about his sobriety in honor of April being Alcohol Awareness month. 

After an incident that happened in December of 2017 -- Ben was faced with either changing his ways and coming to terms with his alcohol use or continue his unhealthy habit and putting more stress on our family and most importantly himself after losing our dad that June. We are super proud of how far Ben has come! He didn't have to seek outpatient treatment, but worked hard to live a healthier life. 

Disclaimer: This is not to shame anyone who drinks alcohol! Some are able to drink responsibly, my brother and I -- needed to take a much needed/overdue hault to touching alcohol.
