By no means are we perfect but what God has put together let no man separate… we live by this word to the best of our ability. Taking this oath in front of God, friends and family is a big deal. Those who know… know that it can’t be taken lightly. And that it takes hard work to keep it. In a world where so many people claim to have the magic answer on how to first to become married and to stay married… you can easily get tangled up in what they say and do! Even find yourself comparing without truly understanding this key phrase: what God has for you He has for you! No, I’m no marriage expert, counselor, or any other title. I just want to again show you another layer of my identity of being a married woman. But we’re not just going to stop there because as I have researched and discussed with loved ones and friends being black and married is sometimes like an anomaly. My question is why? Black love is very precious when you understand the history. That’s why it’s so celebrated in our culture! As all love should be!
