Singleness
A choice for some. But an automatic default for others. It doesn’t seem fair… so how do those who want to be loved and want to share a life with someone get what they want when they’re black?! Now in all transparency in our conversation we are not saying dating is easy for everybody else but Black women! And we are not saying that black women are not or don’t get married nor are we saying that black women can’t be happy being single. In a world, however, where the statistics show that black women are considered to be the most single and/ or the most divorced group of all other women… the question arises why?! And what can be done?!
Well, here at All About Errythaang, we tackle this issue and discuss this reality for so many women in our community. I do this with my best friend, Lisa aka Lis Lis! She brings an amazing insight and discusses the responsibilities that both black women and men contribute to this issue! This is part 2 on Black Love: What is our Responsibility to Each Other!! If you haven’t listen to part 1, where I interview my husband go check it out! Alright y’all let’s start the show!
