As the Blue Devils head to Syracuse to take on the Orange this weekend we catch up with one of the hottest shooters in the league in Dariq Whitehead. The freshman from Newark, NJ has made half of his shots from outside (19-38) over his last seven games, a torrid stretch that his him nearing 40% from the perimeter on the season. Also featured this week is a conversation with former Blue Devil Will Avery who is back on campus finishing up his degree while spending some time with the team and staff. We’ll discuss why finishing up his academic work has been so important before switching gears and discussing how the current team is getting it done in the classroom with the program’s academic coordinator Monty Montgomery.
