Welcome to Vista: Unified, the podcast spotlighting the people, programs, and possibilities of the Vista Unified School District.
In this episode Dr. Doyle is joined by Dr. Cheree McKean, Executive Director of Student Support Services for Vista Unified, and Rocky Herron, Spokesperson for the San Diego County Office of Education on Drug Prevention. Prior to his role with the County Office of Education, Mr. Herron spent 31 years with the US Drug Enforcement Agency.
The trio covers a lot of ground about the reality of the current climate. They also practical ways that schools, parents, and families can engage in productive conversations that inform and empower students to make better decisions.
