Maria Elena is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner AANP and has over 12 years' experience. She completed her BSN and MSN from UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso). She is certified in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement by the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine.  

Maria Elena has experience in Family Medicine, Allergies, Urology and BHRT.

Maria Elena Gonzalez is married to Richard Gonzales and they have two children together. Enjoying family, camping, exercising, gardening and trying new plant based recipes are some of her joys! 

Maria Elena is the founder of Santa Teresa Health & Hormone Clinic. She is passionate about helping people understand their body and works closely with all her patients to help them apply preventive health measures to ensure they thrive and experience good health and a better quality of life.
