Wesley Lawrence, a candidate for city council in District 4 of El Paso, discusses his background, his motivation for getting involved in politics, and his plans for the community. He emphasizes the importance of local politics and encourages people to get involve. Lawrence, addresses concerns about safety in the North East Area of El Paso, highlighting the data that shows it is actually the safest community in the city. He also discusses the need for responsible growth and development, prioritizing green infrastructure, and supporting local businesses. Lawrence advocates for affordable housing, living wage jobs, and improved public safety measures. In this conversation, he discusses the important of utilizing available spaces to address the housing crisis in El Paso. He also emphasizes the need to support local businesses and highlights some of his favorite places to visit. George has a love video making and uses his YouTube channel to tell stories about our beloved city of El Paso. During our chat, he shared with me some of the challenges he's faced, the process of creating content that is meaningful, and the lessons learned along the way.
