  • Episode 29: MiMi Zackery | Lifestyle Entrepreneur
On this episode, I spoke with Lifestyle Entrepreneur, MiMi Zackery. MiMi has been in business for herself  and inspiring so many women along the way for over 20 years. During our conversation, MiMi shares her journey to becoming her own boss as well as some of the most important practices she feels have helped her thrive in both her personal and business life.   Sadly, recently MiMi suffered the loss of her only child, forcing her to learn about grief and survival. Her wish, however, is  that her story may one day help others find hope and strength after the loss of a loved one.   It was such an honor to have MiMI on the podcast. She has always been a source of peace and light for me and so many others.

  • Edrick Kendrick: Episode 26
On today's episode I got a chance to reconnect and chat with Kendrick, whom I met almost 20 years ago while living in Alaska. Kendrick is a 21 year old Army veteran, husband, father, grandfather, friend and leader. You'll notice that I laughed more than talked during our conversation but that's just the effect that Kendrick has had on me since the first day I met him. He's smart, honest, kind, funny, warm-hearted and the type of person that you would definitely appreciate having in your corner. I hope you all enjoy our conversation as much -if not more- than I did.

Diana and Maria stopped by the podcast to chat about the inspiration behind creating Insightful Babes. • Victor Guerrero: Episode 24
Victor paid me a visit again, and we had the most beautiful conversation about grief and learning to find light during difficult times. Victor' father passed away late January, and he shared with me memories and lessons his father taught him, and continues to teach him even after his death. We shared a heart-to-heart talk about losing a loved one and finding meaning in the midst of pain. It was such a beautiful chat and I am forever grateful to Victor for being so open and vulnerable during our discussion.

  • Che Guerrero: Episode #20
On this episode I sat down with writer and comedian Che Guerrero. Che tackles difficult, yet important topics of today's world. Including, chronicling his road to becoming a U.S. citizen. Having lived undocumented for over 20 years, Che shares the struggles, frustration and uncertainty that so many in similar situations as himself face, as they navigate a system that is not as kind or fair most of the time. During our conversation, he shares the story of how he brilliantly crafted a plan to keep his job without letting his boss know his status would soon become undocumented, so that he could move away and start fresh in a different city.
Che is charismatic, funny, and so, so talented. He has made appearances on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, and Central on BET as part of their Artist Spotlight Series.
I truly hope you tune in to listen to his story because it doesn't take much to realize just how special Che truly is.
