Back in late 2011 I got my first taste of what total freedom looked like. I was working less, earning more while enjoying it.
I turned traditional prospecting upside down; Buyers and sellers sought me out first instead of me doing the chasing. I could focus on serving existing client because I was no longer busy finding the news ones. If I missed their future referrals, I had to started each month back from zero.
But by early 2012 I was getting bored.
I realised being an entrepreneur was lonely. So I flew out to different countries. And it was while I was travelling that I started meeting new people like my future wife whom I would go on to marry. 😍
But while I was having fun wooing her, clients wanted me to be their agent, said my downlines. That was weird because I had trained my downlines to be my clones. And I couldn’t postpone my upcoming wedding. So I decided to investigate this further. What I found was depressing.
In truth, my downlines were not really following what I had set up. My clients were not happy and were asking after me. I thought I had set up a perfect system. But no system is perfect. It was always a human who messed up a machine.
So I started searching for answers and came across NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I realised I had been asking the wrong people to do the right job all along. So I started to separated tasks by Personality Type. As a result, my downlines improved a lot.
I realised that selling was impacted by personality too. As a team leader I had to guide them how to deal with different clients. But some of my downlines were not very happy about it.
They started leaving my team until there were only 2 left. But I didn’t really care. My 2 agents were doing a better job than all of them combined.
I realised more agents could benefit if I shared my TEAM System with them.
This was how I decided to help more Singapore Agents create and keep a lean, productive team of agents.
