Do you struggle with the feeling that you don't completely fit in, no matter what you do?
Are you included in your friends group, but constantly feel like an outsider?
Do you feel that no matter how hard you try, you just don’t feel like your true self?
If you answered yes, welcome!
I know exactly how you feel- For YEARS I always felt that being myself was too weird and not accepted. In my room, by myself, I really liked who I was! I thought I was cute, I knew I was funny, heck I could make myself belly laugh. But I felt that no one ever really SAW me.
No one GOT me.
I was always told I was too loud, weird, too dramatic, too exhausting. Not a day would go by without me spilling something on my shirt or tripping over my own two feet.
JUST AWKWARD.
I felt I needed to just be cooler, I needed to be someone else, even down to changing the way I laughed. So I tried and tried and tried to be everything but me. My clothes, my laugh, my shampoo, my humor, my voice EVERYTHING! It was exhausting.
And Painful.
What I thought were other's thoughts and opinions about me became a reality for who I thought I was.
Today... I love myself and everything I am and have grown to be!! I live and breathe who I am authentically, transparently, genuinely and most importantly, I am unapologetic about all of it. Finally deciding to be ALL THINGS MEGAN, and taking a chance on myself was the door that opened for self growth, confidence, resilience and transformation all rooted in faith.
I'm excited to share my story on how I took a chance on myself and why you should do the same.
xoxo
