You may have heard the saying that what you think about you bring about and I wholeheartedly agree with this important philosophy.

 

Your life is like a bank...what you invest is all you can withdraw and it can grow and accumulate over time, just like a bank balance.

 

Too many people avoid thinking about the important questions in life, yet it’s actually really exciting to be able to delve into the art of self discovery...discover who you are and what your own unique values are, discover what makes your heart truly sing?

 

When you’re wondering what really makes you happy in life, have a think about what do you think about mostly, where and what do you spend your money on?

 

What people and environment do you surround your self with?

 

With your inner most voice, what sort of self talk do you say to yourself?

 

How do you talk to other people and what conversations do you have?

 

Each day you are taking actions and doing things that if you take the time to feel and wonder, you will know what you  feel most inspired by...what is it?

 

When I first learned that my luck was 'me' and that i was the answer, I made the decision there and then, along with a commitment, that I would work harder on myself than my job, or career, or business, for the rest of my life.

 

I made the decision that no matter what it took, I would invest into my self education, so that I could become the person I needed to be, to live the life I truly dreamed of, since I was a young kid.

 

Like you, I had dreams; big dreams, and I knew in my heart that with my limited understanding and limited knowledge, I would never achieve many of those lofty dreams, until I made some big changes.

 

The first thing I did was invest in books. I'd read everything I could get my hands on, while studying to become a personal trainer. I didn't just want to help my clients with their health and fitness, I wanted to have a way bigger impact than that!

 

Today I listen to podcasts. YouTube videos and invest in mentors....and now I have a wealth of knowledge and information that has become my mission to pass on to others.

 

You see it’s not a cost but an investment. Whatever your budget is for personal growth (don’t scrimp on yourself or others will scrimp on you!) the most impactful and empowering lesson, I ever received from my mentors, was the understanding of self discovery and that we each have a set of unique values that are our own.

 

I didn't know this, and this is why I know I had so many jobs that I didn't love, so many life lessons I didn't understand at the time. it was because I wasn't living according to my own values, but someone elses.

 

Each week I will share a story of my journey, occasionally I will have a guest who can also share their story, and can’t wait to get to know you better, along the path of this new journey we are going to take together.
