Round 4 of the 2025-26 (NOT 2024-25 as mentioned in the podcast) BKT EuroCup was highlighted by two high scoring, thrilling games won by Besiktas GAIN Istanbul and U-BT Cluj-Napoca. That left two undefeated teams (Bahcesehir College Istanbul and Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse) and only Veolia Towers Hamburg have not won a game. The week also saw the first EuroCup coach get fired as Aris Thessaloniki Betsson sacked Bogdan Karaicic after just four rounds of games. Marco Munno and David Hein look at Besiktas’ win over previously undefeated ratiopharm ulm and Neptunas Klaipeda beating Hamburg in a battle of winless teams. We also take a deep-dive into Iverson Molinar from Cluj as well as Will McDowell-White of Bourg. And for the two surprising player performances, we chose Kameron McGusty of London Lions and Agustin Ubal from BAXI Manresa.

Of course we also glance ahead at the games from next week in Round 5 - highlighted by Besiktas hosting Bourg and Bahcesehir going to Manresa in two battles of 3-1 teams hosting unbeaten sides. There are also NINERS Chemnitz facing Ulm in a German derby as well as Panionios Athens welcoming Dolomiti Energia Trento.
