You deserve to have a seat at the table, but if you’re not invited - or sometimes even if you are invited (hello, imposter syndrome!) - it’s hard to believe you’re supposed to be there

We can be our harshest critics, but you have to pave your way in life. A lot of the time, you will not be handed the opportunities you know you’re ready for, you know you’re smart enough for, you know you’ve worked for. And so you have to show up like you’re already where you want to be. The rest will follow, and people will admire your confidence
