In the first few years of the 1990s a string of gruesome murders plagued the vicinity of New York City. Dismembered body parts of men were turning up in garbage bags along the region's highways. When investigators looked into the lives of the deceased men they had two major things in common, they were gay, and they had all been last seen in New York City, many of them at piano bars.
