The Reel Life Freedom Podcast

episode 51: self acceptance, when "white" is right

Listen Later

On today's show, Thalea  and I jam on creating and connecting to what we really want in this world, to make an impact.  She is vulnerable in sharing her story, and the evolution of the powerful woman she has become, through struggle and strife, South African style.  If you have been chasing a feeling of inspiration, love, connection and triumph, you won't want to miss this episode. We get 'reel' about how the choice is always within ourselves.

About Thalea

Thalea, aka the SunKissed Self Love Queen has  lived abroad for the last 5 years and recently moved back to my hometown Cape Town South Africa.  She has a love for the sun  and could chase the heat for a living.

Traveling, meeting new people, great food, great conversations, and empowering women to empower themselves lights up this amazing soul.

Thalea traded in her Marketing/ Office management Job back in 2014 to pursue a love of travel. Teaching English has given her the means to do this, and she has lived boldly and vibrantly in China and South Korea. Teaching has shifted to coaching women who desire a more vibrant life.

Living abroad and traveling  has given her so much freedom to explore the world but also allowed opportunity for personal growth and connection.  She desires this for  all women could take, which lights her soul on fire!

On this episode, Thalea shares:

  • Father wounding, abandonment, and the impact of apartheid as a 7 yr old
  • The importance of internal growth to truly impact the world
  • Triggers and how they always point back at you
  • Self love, acceptance for just being you
