Episode 52, a celebration of a music podcast episode without any Grammy award winners or nominees. I thnk Fantastic Negrito was nominated for a Grammy award last year and I like his last record but it's not often that I traffic in it!

Why be proud of being Grammy free??!! Cuz you know a lot of this mainstream music business is about booty and money and drama and business and not so much if at all about music. Musicians who shall remain nameless using their records to sell clothes and sneakers and intimate apparel. Weird.

In this episode we kinda roll in the chill sitch part of town, some nostalgic jazz from Sam Sadigursky, some ambient (I love me some ambient music), some Latin Jazz and we finish up with Oddisee, an incredibly musical hip hop gent who stuff his arrangements almost beyond belief.
