Nowadays it seems like we don’t have the attention or listening span to actually listen to each other.
For instance, how many times have you looked at your phone and let it ring just because you didn’t want to talk, but then you're ok with texting them? Or while someone is talking to you, you start looking around or start to reach for your phone claiming “I’m still listening” as you scroll on your phone?
I get it. I've done it too. But maybe what is making us feel alone is that we aren’t listening to each other anymore.
