What a fun conversation in this episode with writer and sculptor, Liz Reed! Liz lives in the Washington, D.C. area and is the co-creator, with her husband Jimmy, of the mixed media comic Cuddles and Rage. We talk about their newest book, Bites of Terror, which is 144 pages of horror comics starring anthropomorphic food. We also explore her approach to the creative process, what it's like for her to work with her husband, how she transitioned from working for someone else to working for herself, and much more. Liz reminded me, in such a beautiful way, that we are all creative and it can feel really good to let the artist within come out and explore from time to time. As always, we concluded with Liz sharing about the most important thing she learned in 2020 and what she’s looking forward to in 2021.
