In Episode 55, CJ and Tanner are joined by Dr. James Vosswinkel and SCPD Detective Tim Thrane. Dr. Vosswinkel is the Chief Trauma Surgeon at Stony Brook University Hospital and the Suffolk County Police Department's Medical Director, running our Medical Crisis Action Team (MedCAT). Detective Tim Thrane is a 7th Precinct Detective. Tim suffered a life threatening injury while he was a Police Officer on patrol in the 7th Precinct when he was struck by a drunk driver. Tim survived his injuries thanks to Dr. Vosswinkel, the MedCAT team on scene, and the staff at Stony Brook University Hospital.
