After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Saritha pursued law school and went on to spend more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, handling major cases involving international terrorism, cybercrime, narcotics trafficking, fraud, and public corruption, including prosecuting members of Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Mexican drug cartels.

In Episode 82, CJ and Tanner are joined by Sean Riordan, Esq. and Chris Wolf. Sean Riordan began his career representing claimants before the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, as well as various New York State and City retirement boards.

Over the years, he has become disability counsel to numerous unions and has lectured extensively to police officers, correction officers, detectives, teachers, laborers, and other workers on their disability rights.

In addition to his legal practice, Sean concentrates his lobbying efforts at the intersection of disability, labor, and public employment law, with a particular focus on advocating for unionized workers, first responders, and municipal employees throughout New York State.

In Episode 81, CJ and Tanner sit down with Edward Strohm, Executive Director of The Strohm Foundation. A former New York State Court Officer, Ed shares how he has grown the foundation since taking over, continuing its mission in honor of his three aunts, who were all diagnosed with breast cancer around the same time.

What began as a deeply personal mission has grown into an organization committed to making a difference in the fight against cancer. Today, The Strohm Foundation is dedicated to funding critical cancer research, with a focus on breast cancer, pediatric cancer, and 9/11-related cancers. In Episode 80, CJ and Tanner are joined by James Gruenfelder, President of the Suffolk County Police Superior Officers Association. James joined the Suffolk County Police Department in 1991 and steadily rose through the ranks, ultimately attaining the rank of Lieutenant. Early in his career, he recognized the importance of union involvement and advocating for his fellow officers, eventually becoming President of the SOA in 2020.

Beyond his leadership with the SOA, James serves as a board member of the Brotherhood for the Fallen and the Steuben Association.
