A few months ago, I bought a 1954 Ford tractor. Although it is old, it has great potential to be used once again. And each day I tinker on it it gets a step closer to seeing it run once again. It is fulfilling to see something that was once broken come to life and be useful again.

Many Christians miss out in deepening their relationship with God because they haven’t taken time to pray. The Bible says there are three things that hinder our prayer life: unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or disregarding God’s Word.

Just as there are steps that can be taken to repair an old tractor, there are also steps we can take to fix a prayer life that has been hindered. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins…” When we come to God for forgiveness, we can see new life breathed into our times of prayer.
