It is time for my annual faves show where I highlight what I enjoyed from the previous year's smorgasbord of musical offerings. It took me longer than I expected to comb through all of last year's new releases again and try and come up with what were my favorites. Somebody asks you for your favorite band or artist, and you respond immediately. Then a moment later you think well what about so and so? Or what about that one song? And suddenly trying to pick the very best overall is pretty much impossible. It's hard to narrow it down, but I've tried. I let my ears do the pickin, and now I'll let you do the judgin'.
