The Rodent Hour

Episode 56 - The Judex

Listen Later

The Judex was formed in Philadelphia in 2017. Their sound has been described as "The sound of Punk being invented in a 1957 Chicago Blues Club..." and they're down on the glorification of the artist. The Judex is a hive mind approach to Rock & Roll. Their songs explore the decline of community, the responsibility of the artist, gender perception, the role of the abuser, the enablement of culture, and Silent Film Actresses.
