The Murdaugh family of the lowlands of SC become one of the most famous families in recent years thanks to their almost unbelievable fall from grace between 2019 and 2023. With suspicious deaths in 2015 and 2018 linked to the family and then the tragic boating death of a 19 year old female in 2019, the house of cards built by Alex Murdaugh and his ancestors crumbled and he selfishly killed his wife and younger son in 2021. With up to $20 million dollars stolen and five people losing their lives, this story sounds more like a Hollywood movie plot but we put together a four part series to breakdown and analyze this terrible and sad story of greed and murder.
