Combining her various educational degrees and her work in the non-profit sector, Camille is working, through her Soul Professional Movement, to help others maximize their business reach while making a difference in their communities in the process.
In this episode, she and I cover her first book of a trilogy that parallels the tenets of her organization. The first book is about launching one’s business. The upcoming second book is about reaching the next level of success. Finally, the third book will cover leadership and leaving your legacy.
In addition to talking about her career journey, Camille and I also talk about and compare notes on being introverts fascinated by network-building.
In the end, whether its about networking or building up our communities through our work, we stress the importance of changing the world by going for what we want – and we don’t take it lightly.
What I take away from my conversation with Camille is the realization that we shouldn’t forfeit who we are when it comes to our work and business. Some of us want to shake the world up and make a difference, doing what we can proactively instead of sitting out on the sidelines. Her organization helps business owners, new and established, do just that without losing their souls, instead achieving the alignment between making money and doing the work that feels right for you.
This is yet another conversation that amplifies the power of networking and realizing what we need and who we want to surround ourselves with.
Don’t compromise. Don’t forfeit who you are. Get out there and find what’s for you. Too many of us are waiting, tolerating the cards we’re dealt. There is more out there for you – should you want it and if you feel called to do so.
You just to be curious, explore, and experiment.
