In this episode, Jerrell speaks to professional guitarist Jimena Fosado. Jimena was born in Mexico City established in Los Angeles. She is influenced by different genres, in order to create her own unique sound. She performs rock and metal combined with fusion and EDM: Better described as “Messhugah meets Guthrie Govan, Afrojack meets Steve Vai.”  Jimena discusses her time growing up and challenging herself to play guitar at an advanced level, like the artists that inspired her.
