On 8/16/42, US Navy Blimp L-8 took off from Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay on a routine mission to look for Japanese submarines in the Pacific Ocean. The blimp began to descend and proceeded to crashed into a home in Daly City. What’s even crazier?? The two man crew was nowhere to be found? They simply vanished. How could this be?
