This podcast had me hitting that panic button from the first beep. Fiona Moloney has made many switches from Ireland to Australia and back again to creating wearable technology that helps keep hospitality workers safe.

Fiona shares her journey from corporate sales to nutrition, working on That Sugar Movie Foundation to developing some of  the most cutting edge technology with her co=founder/husband. Fiona began her journey of HaloSOS whilst out for a late afternoon run. Finding herself feeling vulnerable as dusk approached Fiona decided to find a tech based solution and HaloSOS was born. HaloSOS provides a wearable "panic button" alarm to housekeepers and hotel staff who work alone, it allows them to raise an alarm and be located to the room they are working in, then if they move they can be located indoors or out - 90% of the people who work in housekeeping in the USA are women 

Part of our offering is not only panic button but voice activation and crisis notification to the whole team in an emergency situation
