I'm very sorry, but they weren't exempt and neither are you. We all have to take the journey. You'll either suffer the loss of a loved one or they will suffer the loss of you. Someone is going first, because we all will die. It's something that we all must accept. We should understand it will happen. When a person is of that mindset, they learn how to handle loss much better. It doesn't mean they don't hurt, but they know in life for as long as we live, we will lose a loved one. No one should give up because of it.
